Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is an actress in film. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as several films in Malayalam. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the role of actress Savitri. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actor at the beginning of 2000 and returned to films after studying fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed up to appear in several Tamil films at the same time. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be a success at the box-office. The actress had to pull out of a number of films she had been working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for bigger projects. The result was that she made two films together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the lead part for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari and Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been delayed since 2015, with speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. The debut film was Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring actress Ram Pothineni. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
