Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known her real name as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother was both an author and editors. Ryder's dad was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They had no electricity. There was no television books were the only way for Ryder for her time, and she began to read extensively. At the age of twelve, Ryder took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986 after she turned 15 years young. Ryder faced bullying during the school she attended. Ryder was hopeful that her work as a performer would make a difference. Unfortunately, that did not happen. But she kept working towards her dreams. In 1988, she received her first big breakthrough in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was a star in various films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
